Basic Policy
1. We set environmental objectives and targets within the technically and economically possible
range based on the environmental impact assessment, work on continuous improvement and
enhancement of environmental protection activities, and strive to prevent global environmental
pollution.

2. We observe legislative and regulatory requirements regarding environmental protection and
other requirements to which we subscribe.

3. Being aware of finite nature of global resources, we work on reduction of load to environment
from the environmental aspects associated with our activities, products, and services, as well as
make regular reviews.

(1) Promotion of effective utilization of resources, and energy conservation.
(2) Appropriate separation of waste and reduction in its release.
(3) Appropriate control and reduction of hazardous chemical substances.
(4) Development of environmentally friendly products.

4. Recognizing that improvement activities by all individual employees play a critical role in reducing the depletion of resources and protecting natural environment, we provide awareness education for all employees to promote environmental protection activities
